Glory Distribution

1 Corinthians 11:7-10
For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man. For man is not from woman, but woman from man. Nor was man created for the woman, but woman for the man. For this reason the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels.

To kick start this new foundational blog, I'm beginning with the distribution of glory. This is really about our roles in a godly relationship. Whether marriage or couples, the Word of God is clear.

These are the rules of representation within our construction as relational beings.

God
God is the ultimate Creator of all things. He has no beginning, therefore, in the sense of relationship, He is our Everlasting Father and Founder.

Man
Man was made in the image and glory of God. Therefore, man ought to reflect the likeness of God. This is true in the sense of authority and power in our earthly relationships with one another.

Woman
When God created man, He then saw the man needed a partner. Therefore, God created the woman from the man and for the man. Thus, women have a symbol of authority over there heads... Because of the angels.

The portrait that is painted is the viewed picture of the unseen into perspective of the visible.
As God created His angels as ministering spirits, He created woman also for man.
The primary foundation of a healthy relationship between a spouse or a partner is the roles that we play in relationships. A man ought to reflect the glory of God in headship and authority in a relationship and a woman ought to be subject to man in any healthy relationship. A man ought to be firmly planted in God in order to fulfill his role as God has intended.

(Women, this is why it's important to choose your men wisely!)

A man ought to be able to lead and guide his spouse/partner by the help of and through our Lord Jesus Christ. A woman ought to be able to count on and stand along with her spouse/partner in support and obedience.

The Apostle Paul couldn't have been more specific than this:
I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling; likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, but with what is proper for women who profess godliness—with good works. Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness.  I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. (1 Timothy 2:8-14 ESV)

Thus, this is the distribution of glory based on the Word of God: God>Man>Woman
